There are several processes that are interlinked in creating interaction design but only some of the snippets of work are curated here to get a holistic sense of my capability. The field is gradually transforming into spatial design and I am adapting to these changes. Here are some projects that turned into finished products and some remained as concepts but there has always been an iterative way of working on these projects. Constant feedback loops- make the outcome better for the team to understand if the product has the potential to be implemented, used by the target group and restructured by the design/ tech teams for a better experience. An agile and iterative way of working has always been the process followed here- to save time and costs.
Microfinancing app for Global South (Microsoft Research)
These are elements of a financial app that helps people who have taken vehicle loans. It allows them to pay their EMI on a regular basis by reminding them. The app has various features that are added to it based on the situation. During the pandemic, many awareness campaigns were launched through this platform. Apart from the main feature of repayment of EMI, this app is designed to constantly evolve and is like a one-stop for various assistance to the end users. This is a part of the research project at Microsoft Research for microfinancing in the Global South.
The elements were created in Illustrator, animated in After Effects and exported as a JASON file with a Lottie plug-in
Software: Illustrator, Maya, XD, After Effects
Mental wellbeing app (Microsoft Research)
Some explorations of ideas for mental health and wellbeing app for Microsoft Teams created at Microsoft Research.
Software: Illustrator, Maya, XD, After Effects
Interactive presentation (IBM)
Interactive presentation created at IBM for Natwest, London, UK about the services that IBM can provide to Natwest. This was presented to the target group and participatory design was used to gain insights for improving the services between IBM and Natwest. The prototype was created using Adobe XD.
Software: Illustrator, Maya, XD
Video prototyping
Below are some motion explorations of the interface to be used in video prototyping for Strategy Dot Zero. The format is ideal for visualizing the speculative design of digital products.
Prototyping, low and high fidelity
The video prototyping for Strategy Dot Zero is to demonstrate the IOT in the office environment using Maya, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects.
Interactive Prototype presentation for Natwest using XD
Interface to capture moods, mental wellbeing app (Microsoft Research)
Below is the prototype of the interface to capture the moods of people. The elements were created in Maya and Illustrator and Unity 3D game engine was used to create the prototype. The project was tested out in Microsoft Research.
WeChat app (Microsoft Research)
The research data was collected by Ding Wang from the hospital located in the North West region of China. The hospital handled 3000 patients per day and they (patients) exchanged queries to the nurses with approximately 10,000 messages on WeChat.

During the treatment patients went through hypertension, depression and anxiety. Along with this, there was distrust among the patients and the doctors due to the track record of mismanagement. To add to the complication of the IVF process, the treatment is in three stages- hormone activation, stimulation/ incubation of ovaries and fertilization and diet management plans. The app was envisioned to reduce the work of the nurses by optimizing the way information is arranged in the app.
This is the prototype of the app, to the left is low- fidelity and to the right is high- fidelity.
Software: Illustrator, Photoshop and XD
Election tracker 2020 (Microsoft Research)
Below is the prototype created to capture the elections in the USA that shows the position of the politicians in the race for the presidency in 2020. This was a pitch for an online news platform to integrate this on their website to show real-time data.
Rapid prototyping for organic farmers to show the availability of stock that they can barter with other farmers in the urban area. This is to help each other and encourage organic farming
European Central Bank (IBM)
These are some of the pages of the European Central Bank. I was the lead of this project and execution was carried out by designers. The process went through multiple iterations and client discussions. It is an active website and more can be seen here.
